Dear Faculty and Staff,

In your interactions with students, you may encounter individuals experiencing a psychological crisis. Knowing how to respond to such situations, including a risk of suicide or harm to others, can help you provide effective support.

To assist you, the Student Counseling Center has prepared a guidebook and an instructional video on supporting students experiencing psychological crises. We encourage you to review the following resources.

The Student Counseling Center also offers psychological support programs to help students maintain their mental well-being and adjust to university life. Please encourage students experiencing emotional distress or difficulties—such as depression, poor academic performance, interpersonal conflicts, or career-related anxiety—to make use of these services.
